Rainbow Houses Card, A6 Screenprint

Inspired by the many multi-coloured seaside homes in Cornwall, the Rainbow Houses cards are perfect for any occasion. These A6 screen prints are blank inside for your own unique message - and each one of them is printed onto recycled Kraft card, paired with a recycled grey envelope.

Item Description

Paper: Kraft brown recycled, 280gsm card, envelope grey recycled paper  

Size: A6 when folded, 105mm x 148mm

Cards are posted flat, plastic free and in a card-backed envelope. 

The Process

All screenprints in my store are hand-pulled by myself. Each of these prints has a base layer made up of four colours which blend together, this is a technique called split fountain and creates a gradient effect on each card. Then a fine white line is added, offset from the rainbow colours below.

Due to the nature of screenprinting, each paint blend for the rainbow houses will be slightly different and the white line offset in a slightly different place. At Abi Prints, I love using this technique to print cards because it makes each and every piece completely unique and its own piece of art.
