Hot Air Balloon, Risograph Print A3

Float away, high above the clouds, in this dream like scene. The Hot Air Balloon risograph, is printed in coral, mint and yellow, capturing a soft morning colour scheme. This is a limited edition, A3 print with each one numbered, stamped and signed.

Paper: Context Natural recycled, 190gsm card 

Size: A3, 420mm x 297mm

Unframed, A3 prints are rolled and posted in a tube.

The Process

To get the colours, chosen for this print, I got them printed at Duplikat Press, an independent printing studio, in Margate, Kent. Due to the nature of risograph printing each piece is slightly different, this is because of how the print aligned as it rolled over the ink drum, with each colour used in the print being a new drum. We love using this technique here at Abi Prints, as it uses soy ink making it a very eco-friendly way of printmaking.
