Rainbows are an optical phenomenon, meaning they don't actually exist because of this no two people see the same rainbow. At Abi Prints, I’ve taken this idea and designed three new rainbow cards all in different colour schemes. These cards are blank inside and are perfect to send for any happy or colourful occasion.

Item Description

Option One: Pink and Blue Rainbow with Magenta Envelope

Option Two: Yellow and Pink Rainbow with Orange Envelope

Option Three: Teal and Yellow Rainbow with Green Envelope

Paper: white recycled card, envelope coloured recycled paper  

Size: A6 when folded, 105mm x 148mm

Cards are posted flat, plastic free and in a card-backed envelope. .

The Process

Each card is a two-colour risograph print and was inspired by the Rainbow A4 Screen Print. I love how eco-friendly risograph printing is with all of these cards being printed using soy ink onto recycled card. These cards were printed locally to me, at MARCs, in Salford. Due to the nature of risograph printing, you’ll notice that each card differs slightly. This is because of how the print aligned as it rolled over both of the ink drums.
