Seconds Otters, Screenprint 20 x 20cm

For Super Seconds Festival, I have a few prints available which have a little ink bleed due to the textured nature of the paper or misalignment, please see pictures for examples of flaws.

I love seeing images of otters floating in the water holding hands, so reimagined this as part of my abstract animals series. This screenprint is made up of three colours, metallic orange, magenta and light blue, the metallic ink gives the bodies a lovely shine.

Paper: white recycled rag paper, 320gsm card 

Size: 200mm x 200mm

Unframed, 20 x 20cm prints posted flat, in a card backed envelope.

The Process

All of the screenprints in my store are hand pulled by myself. Each of the Otters print is made up of three layers. Due to the handmade nature of screenprinting, each print will be slightly different. At Abi Prints, I love using this technique to print art and cards because it makes each and every piece completely unique and its own piece of art.
